Poor first half, excellent second.
Utd did very well to contain and frustrate us in the first half.
Soon as we got the goal they had to open up a bit and we pummelled them after that. Get in!

Some of our set pieces were ridiculous, and actually some of their defending was quite good. I think Dalot, Mazraoui and De Ligt had decent games…and De Ligt surely would have got on the scoresheet if not for Raya
I think we played within ourselves a bit, perhaps a bit too respectful of the ability of the United players to catch us on the break

Not disputing that they are the weaker side, but as I say in the opening post they are defensively solid, and it wasn’t just tonight where that’s proved to be the case. The Liverpool and Spurs defeats have been outliers of a team that is a hard nut to crack.Quote:
