The lack of a clinical striker is going to be a recurring theme this season.
That Jesus chance . Great work to nick the ball but ffs hit the target .

Yes it does make a difference.
The further they got into it, the more likely they would have to play some of their first team players.
It also gives them something else to focus on and not just the PL. I would not want them to win it just get to the quarter finals or maybe the semi finals and then lose.
I hope they do not go out of the FA cup in the 3rd round either.
I want them in the Thursday night crap next season or worse but I'm sure they will be in Europe next season.
I DON'T want them in the CL next season.
If that goes in we probably win the game with ease and there’s nothing much to really talk about. Those are the margins and while I love Jesus he just isn’t a killer in front of goal.
We wilted without Rice and conceding so quickly after scoring the penalty pretty much destroyed any confidence and composure we might have had to win the game. If Spurs had really turned the screw I’m sure we would be talking about a defeat right now but thankfully they were probably too afraid to try and win it at the risk of losing like we were.
Got to say they were on us from start to finish, the Aussie has them well drilled, while Raya did some good things, not least that save in the first half, even he got caught and ended up playing the ball out a few times
I atill think the big mistake ia not keeping Xhaka and telling him to break Son's legs in the NLD ;)
Alao trying to win any game with Havertz involved is an uphill struggle, what a heap of shit, except funnily enough in defence, maybe we should try to make him a CB
