Don’t think we’ll have much choice but to go full second string at Brentford midweek.

Could do without having to play in the league cup frankly

    What do you mean?

Im sorry but the league cup is not a worthwhile trophy. I don’t like losing any game but not going to lose sleep over losing a b-cup competition.

This is why it was not good news when Spuds were knocked out of it a few weeks ago.

They have nothing but PL games until January. They will be fresh every week.

But as I said at the time when that was said before, it’s not even the same players.
So does it make much difference?

What would an Arsenal B team look like, given the injuries are piling up not that much different from the first team

Two issues today, not clinical enough and we then make life more difficult for ourselves with a high line.
I agree with all that. I think we’ll be Top 4 but it doesn’t look like we’ll be causing City too much trouble. Early days though, if we beat them ( I know, but lets imagine) then things will feel different.

For the record, I said 2-1 to Arsenal before the game, but I did also think 2-2 was a likely alternative.
It’s a better result for them than us but it’s not a disaster

No it’s not a disaster but it is a profound disappointment. I think we dominated the game and had the better chances but we were very wasteful, more than one player wasn’t at the races today.
