Sanchez flying to London tonight
Gutted for Chile.
Neymar what a penalty, so much pressure on him and at 22 he still delivers, great player.
Is Sepp Blatter posting on here?
Brazil. shot their bolt at the Confederations Cup:doh:
Hulk is fucking shit.
You think, you don't think it's actually common sense to want to see the host nation remain in the tournament?
If they go out the country loses interest and it ruins the atmosphere and World Cup somewhat, the best tournaments always have the hosts doing well.
In my eyes Brazil is the home of football and my second favourite team behind France.
He's not the only shit in that Brazil team and as bad as he is he's far from the worst. Don't know what the hell that Fred thing is supposed to be and somehow they've found a player almost as bad in Jo. Add the chav pubbers on top and it all adds up to a disgrace to the shirt.
I don't think Brazil can beat Colombia and France or Germany so they'll need it to fall their way I think.
Brazil.
Chile.
I don't think that's true with the other South American sides there too, at least not from what I have seen. Colombia and Argentina have been massively supported.
Hated in Argentina's case by the Brazilian fans that are in the stadium at the time.
Oh well, the only positive is that Sanchez can be wrapped up this week. Should be able to do his medical in London on Monday.
Sanchez is a great lil player, please please wumger sign him up.
Again I'm failing to understand why as someone who watches this on TV it should make a scintilla of difference to me, plus South Korea and Germany both got to the semis of their respective tournaments and the knockout matches in both world cups was largely dull and predictable
Despite it being on tv you still see the fans during the other parts between matches and get a feel for the atmosphere, in addition the stadiums remain full which may not be the case otherwise.
Whether you like it or not it's important for the hosts to do well, just look at South Africa 2010, hosts went out early, tournament was awful.
Re Germany and South Korea / Japan, both great world cups IMO, with a special atmosphere.
I can't for the life of me understand why there's so much hate for Brazil the team who pretty much invented beautiful attacking football, I like them in the tournament I think they add something as do their fans.
This isn't the best Brazil side, nor is it the worst, if they win it it's because they'll have been the best team however.
I actually enjoyed the knock out games from South Africa much more than I did the previous two world cups. And the reason I don't like Brazil is because they have three current Chelsea players and one ex Chelsea player in the side. Plus I've always preferred Argentina to Brazil
