Faurlin, 25, is rated at around £10 million by QPR and has also attracted interest from Napoli.
Arsenal have scouted Faurlin a number of times in the last year and Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is an admirer of his passing ability and intelligence.
Tottenham have shortlisted Faurlin as a potential target to replace Luka Modric if the Croatian playmaker at the end of the season.
Faurlin has been tracked by Inter ever since he turned down a move to the San Siro as he felt he would get more playing opportunities at QPR, who he joined from Instituto de Cordoba in July 2009 in a club record £3.5m deal.
Faurlin found himself at the centre of a controversy last season when complications over his transfer and registration almost cost QPR their promotion to the Premier League.
The west London club were accused of breaking third-party ownership regulations when they signed Faurlin and only escaped the threat of a points deduction on the final day of the season.
