Didn't know that much about Sagna when he came in. If the club want to hard ball on his contract and sign someone else fine. However, if they bring in some Aurier and he turns out to be closer to Monreal/Santos/Eboue than Sagna then they should await the criticism.
Having said that, we should accept that we aren't always going to see the quality in a prospective player....particularly when for the most part most of us haven't even seen the player play.
Isn't this guy meant to be one of the best young RBs available? I've not seen anything of him myself, but that's the gist I've been getting from the reports that keep linking him with us?
He looks a lot like George Clooney, I'm not sure we should sign him though, he seems to be so heavy he's sinking into the grass, wouldn't be much use in a football match unless you planned to somehow get all the opposition stuck in the hole he's created.Quote:

Some would say there have only been 3 top quality African players over the past 10 years.
So long as he can cross…as much as I love Sagna…his crossing was awful, Eboue worked on his and improved a lot…but it would be nice to have right back who can cross a ball without too much effort.
