He's allegedly also wanted by PSG and Monaco but wants to come to England because of he prefers the PL which is quite a promising sign. Normally we sign either unknown youngsters or players that other top clubs aren't after so this seems quite reassuring in a way.

Don't know much about him tbh but from the basic research I've done it seems like a good signing (assuming it goes through) - probably one of the best young gettable rightbacks around. A DM, LM and Striker please now Wenger.

There have been a few odd stories involving Dortmund and Chelsea but we've by far had the most coverage so that hopefully indicates we've actually made some concrete moves and sounded him out about a transfer.

With Azpilicueta's impressive season I think he'll get the nod to be first choice RB for Chelsea at any rate. They've also got Kalas, Ake and a plethora of other really promising young defenders coming through so they don't really need him ....... well at least as much as we will if Sagna leaves which seems almost certain now.

That being said I wouldn't put it past them or City to sign him just to stop us getting him.

I can't say I have seen much of him but what I have read about him is very encouraging. He is supposed to be very good, developed the right way and we could have a top class right back on our hands.

From what I understand he could be compared to someone like Micah Richards who we are also quite heavily linked with.
