I think the youth policy started roundabout 2006 in reality, so no.
but he isnt talking about the youth policy.
lauren, edu, henry, pires, wiltord, kanu, ljunberg, toure, cole, viera just to name a few, were not big names when he signed them or took them through the ranks. he made them unbeaten.

Wenger was ahead of the game when he arrived in England. He used that advantage to great effect and then everyone else caught up. Wenger changed the game here, that can't be taken away from him. But he also stood still as the game caught him up and then moved past. That can't be taken away from him either.

If Wenger comes out with a biography, i'll be the first in line to illegally download it as an ebook and print it out. Much more troublesome than just buying it but at this point in time I don't want another cent of mine to go to Wenger or Arsenal until they are honest with the fans.

Daily Heil are at it again.
Headline: Wenger says he will walk away if Arsenal fail to win a trophy this season and has 'no new talks planned' to keep him at the club
Of course, suffice to say he says nothing like that - he says that there is no rush for contract talks and he will evaluate how he has done or is doing during the season. They even have a video to click saying to watch him say what he is purported to say, which of course he doesn't.

Worth reading it as I found this photo though:

We'll win the FA cup/carling cup this season.
Mark my words.
with bendtner or sanogo as our league cup options? early exit for a change this time.
fa cup? all depends on january's dealings.

 We don't have a back up team to play, we sold them all! First team will be playing, the trophy is ours.

Did anyone else feel a sense of underlying joy at the way we rolled up to Old Trafford with a smug 'top of the league' type look on our faces?
And Wenger was in his zone yesterday, going to Old Trafford a feared man with a feared team.
Loved it.

I'd much rather us leave a ground smug as opposed to arriving there in that fashion

Me too, being smug and then losing means you get the smug look wiped off your face, not usually a good thing.

Yeah, I know right. We should have been crying leaving Old Trafford top of the league.

We should have been throwing a party in the centre circle at old trafford after the game tbh. Hey we're top of the league!
