Brest playing two Austrian teams back to back? Surely not the big match ties they’d have dreamed of when they qualified for the competition
Although further down the line they go to the Nou Camp and host Real Madrid
Edit sorry not the Nou Camp, that’s still being renovated
Let’s hope for Barcas sake it doesn’t become a White Elephant like the new Mestalla has for Valencia
Brest are smashing it, 0-3 up!
Stuttgart 1-1 Sparta Prague
4 for Brest

Villa play Bayern tonight (a replay of the 1982 European cup final). On one hand, I think it’s good that such a prestigious fixture comes to Villa Park and as I still like old Good Ebening, I wish them well.
On the other hand, I’m a bitter spiteful person and I still haven’t forgiven the club for effectively ending our chance of winning the league (yet only managing one win from the next five after that, meaning that their Emirates win was what secured them top four essentially)
So fuck them
That was down to us not scoring and then being hit late on
also I still blame Zin more for fucking up at home against Fulham and in general weakening the team - and while I think Arteta's learning he should have seen his huge faults much earlier, especially as he knew him at Citeh
had we swapped Zin for a decent LB last season we might well have won the league
I thought it was meant to be me that didn’t have a sense of humour (well obviously that isn’t the case but it’s one of numerous spurious claims you make)
Plus in fairness I in no way have claimed that either them winning was in anyway illegitimate or that our own failings weren’t responsible for the defeat.
Given that the most you can say about Zinchenko is that his meandering cost us three points (the point against Villa and two points against Fulham..and even then I’d argue that the game should have put to bed before) says far more about fine margins than anything
Champions League tonight;
Girona 2-3 Feyenoord
Shakhtar Donetsk 0-3 Atalanta
Aston Villa v Bayern Munich, 20:00
Benfica v Atletico Madrid, 20:00
Dinamo Zagreb v Monaco, 20:00
Lille v Real Madrid, 20:00
Liverpool v Bologna, 20:00
RB Leipzig v Juventus, 20:00
Storm Graz v Club Brugge, 20:00
Interesting results, Feyenoord get trounced 4-0 at home to Leverkusen but manage to win away at Girona
Shaktah get a draw in Bologna but lose at home (usually that word very loosely) to Atalanta
Blatant foul from Upamecano, not given
Now he gets a yellow for the same thing
Villa 1-0 Bayern, Torres!
Offside apparently.
Still 0-0
Kane is pissed with Gnabry
Couple of interesting scorelines with Leipzig winning against Juventus and Benfica winning against Atletico
