Ba, di Maria, amd ozil. That would be awesome
Sakho is done - no idea why we didn't go for him.
Well, apart from Ba, yes.
Fair enough, he's not complete tripe. But he's thrived at smaller clubs who play to his strengths. He has never shown an ability to be an effective link player. Giroud's not perfect, but linking the midfield and attack is one of his best attributes and Ba's worst.
Ba scores goals.

Funny how his so called knee injury hasn't been a problem at any of his other clubs.
If not Ba, who else that we can realistically bring in at this stage for decent cover/competition for Giroud then?

European football writer Andy Brassell:
Porto's Colombian striker Jackson Martinez is very close to agreeing a new contract but it's not signed yet...meaning any club meeting his existing €40m (£34m) buyout clause could potentially prise him away at the last minute."
Or alternatively, Jason Roberts.

I'm told Mike Ashley let Cabaye listen to phone negotiations last week + he heard Arsenal say: "25 million a lot for a reserve" #moodchanger

Wenger tried to sign Ozil before he joined Real Madrid. Now he's finally got his man. Long term admiration of 'super, super quality' player.

Ozil had been reluctant to come to Arsenal. They've persuaded him. It's all on. Imagine Ozil central, Cazorla left. Wow. #afc

Personal terms also agreed with Mesut Ozil. Medical in Germany last hurdle to be overcome. Permanent deal, everything agreed. #afc

BORINI TO SUNDERLAND
Italy football writer James Horncastle: "No one will be more pleased to see Liverpool striker Fabio Borini nearing a loan move to Sunderland than Italy coach Cesare Prandelli. It's hard to understate how highly regarded the 22-year-old is back home.
"A member of the Azzurri's Euro 2012 squad after scoring nine goals in his only season at Roma, Borini's first one at Liverpool under Brendan Rodgers, his former mentor during his time at Chelsea's academy, was desperately unlucky. Injuries meant he never really got to show his worth.
"Should Borini get a run of games under his compatriot Paolo Di Canio at the Stadium of Light, then he will score goals. He has an instinct for them, which in the past has led to comparisons with Pippo Inzaghi."
Sign a top, top, top, top, top, top, quality striker Wenget, you WUM.
Giroud will probably come back maimed after the international break.
Rossi has just come back from injury for Fiorentina.
Do it, Wenfer.
Plus, Maccy would be extremely happy.
Rossi. :cloud9:

We need super super dedication from GWers to make it so.
This Hernandez guy has a shit goalscoring record and his team got relegated.
Don't want.
We should go for Javier Hernandez.
With RVC their main man, Wazza not leaving and Welbeck somehow preferred, he won't get much game time
