Not quite sure what else Inter could have done because they were completely overrun by a far superior team. Younger, quicker, fresher, it just wasn’t a contest and 9 times out of 10 this is probably the outcome based on where these 2 teams are at.
Hmm dunno. I agree with you in that PSG are the superior team. But Inter got past Bayern and Barca (and deserved to) and they were one of the top teams in the league stage. PSG were clearly favourites going in because of the talent they have, but I think the reason it was that much of a mismatch is because Inter looked unfit and just didn’t turn up at all.
Inter were probably running on fumes after cocking up their domestic season.
Something quite unpalatable at seeing Nasser Al-Khelaifi watching the game with the UEFA boss and then being front and centre of the celebrations.

The easiest CL win in recent history and the lowest standard for many a decade. So many garbage teams in it, particularly the two Spanish "giants". Even more regrettable we opted not to turn up against PSG. That's twice now we should have won this cup and this one was on a silver platter.

TBH it was actually the easiest CL final win I've ever witnessed and it was so bad that I stopped watching after the 1st half. I mean I intended to resume at some point in the 2nd half but once I heard Inter had scored again, I couldn't be bothered
Also obviously if Inter had decided to play like this against us, no matter how badly I dislike Arteta there could have only been one outcome.
Ending such an amazing season of a revamped competition like that was truly terrible and doesn't sell the sport if you ask me.
