    Stay or Go?

Will Wenger stay or will he go?

Not should he but will he? His assertions before and after the final whistle were hardly convincing. Fair enough, when faced with a dickhead like Gabriel Clarke he done well not to lay the slimy weasel out on the floor but the question is still lingering despite the victory today.

    He will stay.

Do I want him to stay? No.

Will I be ok with him staying? Yes, just because of the FA cup victory.
Arsene Wenger, the only football manager that got paid 8 million quid to do nothing but sit on his arse..

He'll stay. And I think he should.
It sounds a bit kneejerk to say that on the basis of one game's result - had we lost I'd have felt he should go - but I don't think it is.
There are very fine lines in football - I was reading Bergkamp's autobiography (it's more a series of interviews with him and others he worked with) and Parlour was talking about that penalty in the '99 Cup semi-final (). Had that gone in we'd have been in the Cup Final, would probably have won the Cup and Utd may have wobbled in the league and we'd have done a double-Double. We'll never know of course but one kick of a ball can make a massive difference to the momentum and future of a club.
Yesterday had Gibbs not cleared that one off the line it would have been 3-0, we'd never have come back from that in the remaining time. Fine lines.

That result yesterday gives the squad belief they CAN go on and win big trophies, it creates a feelgood factor in the squad and amongst the fans. It's a great platform to build on next season.

He'll stay but I do think he's taken us as far as he can. At least he's eased some of the pressure on himself though, now we have to kick on and that starts with a making some top signings this summer.

Maybe. I guess the question is could anyone take us further? Maybe but I'd suggest not many people.

I think that he will stay but I hope that he will be working on a transition plan that will enable the club to bring in a new manager without the collapse we saw with Man U this season.
While all answers are responses, not all responses are answers.

Wenger will stay and should stay. We asked for a trophy, we got a trophy. There you go. He's Arsenal through and through, it's doubtful we'll ever see a manager more committed to his club again. He made a gutsy call in the final yesterday and if he makes a couple of similar calls in the transfer market then this club is going somewhere. Looking forward to the summer, looking forward to next season.

    He'll stay.

Should he, no not after another calamitous collapse with some thrashings thrown into the mix as well this season.

IMO would be best for him to leave now on the high of winning the cup because he won't be winning anything else.

You're not accusing Zim of moving the goalposts are you?
