They never dwelt on the ball and waited for magical gaps to appear, they moved it 60 yards with 3-4 passes and had willing runners all over the pitch. Wish I was 16 again and doing GCSE's, just to witness them play.

The football was exciting and exquisite, we had a lot of leaders and desire to win and were always competitive on the pitch and were organised and committed at the back.
Somehow we decided 5 yard passing munchkins with no idea where the goal is and defenders who round around oblivious of anyone else around them was a better solution.
Thing is we were a massive oil rich club ack then always buying 30 mill quid players. We just can't afford to do that now.
