Tribute to Fabrice Muamba - Wishing him a full recovery.

Bolton midfielder Fabrice Mwamba collapsed yesterday on the pitch when his team were playing Spurs in quater final of FA Cup . He suffered a cardiac arrest . He was rushed to the Hospital and is said to be in critical conditions . Fabrice is one of our former boys . He was nicknamed '' the next patrick Vierra'' for his ability to tackle and break down opposite team play and counter-attack . He played with the likes of Wilshere , Song , Bendtner ,Djourou , Larson ,Senderos ..etc.. in the reserves team . He was a regular player in the under 21 England team . He is a decent player and could have made it at arsenal Had arsene not decided to make his loan spell at Birmingham permanent . He is really a good lad .A genteman . As Arsenal fans we should be the first concerned as he started his career with us . Spurs fans forgot their rivalry with Arsenal ( normally any former Arsenal player get booed at white hart lane even if he has left Arsenal ) and conduct themselves in a decent way . All players , fans , and pundits were shocked to witness such a horrible experience . We are after all humans . Get well soon Fabrice .

Thanks . but we still don't know if he will make it . Th signs are not good yet but hopefully he survives that critically condition .Every one is devastated for such a young and nice lad . Even though he doesn't play for us anymore he is still a devoted Arsenal fan ( someone close to him told me Yesterday )

Really hope he pulls through and that he makes the fullest recovery possible. It is never nice to hear of someone so young in this danger - it isn't right.

Also, kudos to both sets of supporters last night - they were pure class.

I saw a v similar case last year. Older guy but it took them so long to get his heart working again he became essentially a vegetable. Watching his wife come in day after day washing and cleaning him holding onto the false hope that he'd come back normal is tragic. Sometimes I think it's better if they died then and there as horrible as it sounds.

Difficult to put thoughts into words. . . .never goes through your head that something like this could happen , although its rare it just show how fragile/precious life is. . . .so many ifs. . .if he hadnt been picked, the game had been played on a different day etc
Is there anything that could be done. . .rountine checks before games?

    Its absolutely tragic
