    OLIVIER Giroud has signed.

After signing Lucas Podolski from Cologne , the second signing of Arsene wenger will be another striker . Olivier Giroud will join Arsenal from Montpellier .He is a poacher , very physical and has scored 22 goals in the french league to help his team seal the first crown in their history . It is just a matter of days and it will be official .Montpellier boss has revealed the deal is nearly done and the player is happy to follow the steps of Henry , Vierra and co .
Looks like the front line of Arsenal will be :

Giroud - Robin Van Persie - Olivier Giroud

Just like Podolski , Giroud can play anyway in the attack . Walcott and Gervinho will have to work harder for their place .
DO NOT POSTPONE TODAY'S DUTY FOR TOMORROW .IT MAY BE TOO LATE .

Wenger is doing a good job so far in the transfer market this season. No complains! If we can keep RVP, our attack looks immense! Now to get rid of the dross in the team!

Seems like a decent signing, I suspect RVP is gone though.

We never sign two goalscoring strikers, it would be an odd move for us to do it now.

    Two possibilities IMO
    1) RvP is going and they know they can't lose him and not sign some proper players this time.
    2) When they met RvP told them straight they needed to show ambition if they want to keep him and Arsenal are trying to do just that.

I fear it's the first but the 2nd is plausible. Either way it's good to see us doing some positive business for a change.

We cant force RVP to stay but if we can do our business early in the season and give the new players a chance to blend in, I have no complaints! If we can get rid of the dross and get back JW fit, next season could be very very interesting!

i honesty believe its the second. after euros, rvp meets wenger. wenger asks how hsi summer was and robin goes it was good. how was yours. then says we were busy and shows him three new players and good players at that. he will sign there and then
