Lucas Podolski showed how confident he really is by tormenting his former team . It is not easy for any player to play against his former team where he is worshipped and produce such a masterclass display . That prove the level of his confidence and professionalism . He will surely be without mercy against any team he has no connection with . Cologne is his team and he loves it . But he has certainly moved on . EPL teams beware of this new merciless ''killer '' .

To be fair, I couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear in the first half. Liquid football.
They're probably equal to a mid table side in the prem so not a bad test for us.
I've got to say, I was surprised with how he sprayed the ball around - didn't expect that at all.
Second half was like us last season, first half was like us 10 years ago. Makes you wonder if the regulars will struggle to get game time.
all of the midfield depth we suddenly have hopefully gets some of the free riders off their arses and actually playing properly.
