somebody put something in my milk
Got a ticket for this, though sitting with the Reading lot.
Would have thought: Martinez, Jenk, Djourou, Kos, Miquel, Coquelin, Wilshere, Walcott, Chamberlain, Fat Fuck, Giroud.
Frimpong could play, maybe. Anyway expecting a tough game.
edit - Wenget has said Wilshere definitely won't play. Maybe Dench will play instead.
We should probably try to win this and field a shit side against Man Utd ala McCarthy.
I'm hoping this will give us fans some respite from the crap first team performances and we get to see some fearless kids out to impress.
Martineth
GHELkinson (he's a first-teamer now, so maybe Angha/Yennaris instead)
Djourou
Koscielny
Miquel
Coquelin
Dench
Oxlade/Arshavin
Theo
Giroud
Segrio Gnabry
If WUMger goes with a conservative team, Reading will win. If he plays an attacking team with the likes of Segrio Gnabbers/Oxo/Feo, we're more likely to cause their Championship defence a problem with pace and counter-attacking and get some +1s.
If Mee Gwell plays well again, it would be good to see him integrated into the first team more. He always looks composed and solid at both left-back and centre-back. He's pretty good going forward too. He certainly seems a better option than Santos and the Djourou of last year. More Spaniards and Germans, it can't really go wrong.
Reading will play a weakened side in all likelihood, although they're quite weakened to start with.

Actually, this should be the Arsenal team of the next few years:
Szczesny (he should do a Podolski and convert to German)
GHELkinson
Mertesacker
Miquel
Gibbs
Arteta
Wolftyre
Cathzola
Segrio Gnabry
Podolski
Oxo
Three GHELs.
Four GHELmans.
Four Spaniards.
A good mixture of grit, efficiency and technique. It's the future. It must be done.
