Cynical view. You seem to be forgetting the higher yield bonds available to us once a certain investment threshold has been passed. No reason why we can't break the £100mill barrier this year, especially with £70mill in the transfer kitty. In fact look on the bright side, we can feather nests without having to sell players this year. If that's not progress then how would you define it? And don't say something naive like winning trophies!
