Overall poor 1st half from us, not impressed by our passing performance or lack of cutting edge....need to up our game especially after a string of bad results.

I'll give you the penalty, though Walcott did play for it which doesn't help the ref.

The Mikel incident isn't a red for me though, I've just seen it on Sky in slow motion and they showed an alternative view where both players are going for a 50/50 ball and Arteta just gets there before.

Zimm it doesnt mather what your intensions are, if what you end up doing is almost breaking someones leg, then its a red card. I was laughing at Neville saying its only a yellow "because he didnt mean to"...

lol nah, the FA are too busy sorting out srs biznizz like hand gestures.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

They showed a different angle on Sky and both are going for the ball, just looks bad from the camera angle in the screenshot.
Not sure you understand the pundit game. One says yes, the other says no, controversy, people shouting at the screen, bums on seats. But that has nothing to do with the game itself. As clear a red as you'll see, relieved Arteta isn't seriously injured. To answer Neville's bullshit, if it had been the other way and Arteta crunched Mikel, that would have been red too.

They've asked the fans and the vote says no at the moment regarding the red card. Having seen the replays it looks 50/50 ball Arteta just covers the last yard or so much quicker which leads to the challenge looking bad.

Fans are voting no as well, having watched the penalty I agree it's a penalty, but I don't agree it's a red....you have to consider the conditions as well in this and the fact they are both going for the ball.
