tbf, Xhaka seems to the the only stabilising influence in this team. At least when he gets the ball he doesn't immediately look to get rid of it and tries to use it. Too much of it is sideways and backwards, but he's not a headless chicken like so many others in this team. I'd rather have a top talent in there, but when you look at who we actually have available Xhaka seems the best option to me.

Kola is just so poor in this position, passing is dreadful and defensive positioning non existent. With Luiz in there as well it's such an easy area for the oppo to attack.
