The only thing those stats tell us is selling genuine quality and replacing it with inferior goods may get you to the game but it won't get the job done. Gervinho, Chamakh, these players wouldn't start for any other team in the PL. Or they wouldn't start for long. Awful players who can't even master the very basics of the game. So you can have 71% possession but you can't do anything with it when you are relying on steaming turds to deliver anything but a stink.
