I'l admit, when I first heard we spent £12m on a kid again, I was furious, genuinely. I thought we really needed a late twenty-something with experience, but maybe Wenger's proven me and others wrong on this one. In fact, when I first heard of this signing I was very confused. I thought we needed proven talent immediately, and given Wenger is (shit, Ive forgotten 67/68/69? YO) I thought he didnt have time for anothert expensive project.
