It's the Szczesny (and now Oxlade (...and the list will continue growing)) situation all over again. We know how rubbish the current alternatives (Theo, Gerv, Arshavin, Chamakh) are. So there is little to lose by trying out an unknown quantity. Nobody expects him to be brilliant. Park could turn out to be useless or he could turn out to be decent.
