Eto would be immense...would bang in the 500 half chances we get in a match. Get him in Wenger.

    Jenkinson
    Samba
    Gervinho
    Cahill?
    Willian?

I've always been a massive fan of this guy, he's been a dream signing for many years now.

Nothing flashy about him, just about as clinical and as instinctive a striker as you will find. Even now he's hit 30 I'd take him in a heartbeat.

Jenkinson can gtfo tbh - he will the reserves and CC await
Samba must get - looks like we are getting closer, I know his football may be a bit sus but could prove to be n inspirtional signing, will definietly out to prove a point
    Gervinho meh - ditto
Cahill prefer someone better - good enough and signing him with Samba will show that AW is more thn aware of where one of our problems lie
Willian id take - if only to get Denilson off the payroll

and I am not 100% against Defoe as we do need another striker but surely another signing would be stretching things a bit

not unless AW was abducted by aliens and replaced with a new prototype - maybe Stan is friends with Tom Crusie and his scientology crazies and had them put call in??

    Your best post ever tbh.

The best striker of his generation and one of the best players overall too.

And what African from France has Wenger signed recently? Chamakh is French born and bred.

Cos he's shit. This is nothing more than his agent trying to get him a better deal.

    He's also shit.

    He's also a scrote.

    And shit.

I mean, the only route to goal we really look for, especially in the last part of the season, is the "eye of a needle" pass. Funny that our two wins from the last 11(?) were goals scored from getting in behind, and getting some width.

Logic would dictate switching to our old style of play. Getting the ball forward quicker and using Theo's only real redeeming quality. Pires/Henry/Ljungberg etc were masters at lovely passing, but the difference between then and now, was that the ball was always moved forward, not sideways.

Killer instinct is a problem....but that could be solved by AW just saying "fucking shoot when you get the chance".
You are assuming the players we've got, are that good and that intelligent enough to pull it off over and over again. They are not as good as the invincibles or Barca to play just a specific way.

Therefore, the smart thing to do then is for AW to pull his head out of his arse and instil flexibility in the teamplay (he doesn't have to if his players were that good and that smart) and make us less predictable. Barca are predictable but they are too good not to beat most teams the only way they know how.

For example, Henry was so good that even though 90% of the time he'll strike the ball across the goalkeeper into the far bottom corner, he almost always scored with that trademark finish. He was that good, he could repeat it over and over again with guaranteed success.

‘Arsene was very cautious and David was very ambitious for the club,’ said former director Keith Edelman, managing director at the time. ‘He was very good at getting Arsene into a position where he was comfortable spending money.’

The board have said if wenger identifies a player he really wants and he needs the money it's there. Wenger doesn't think it's worth it!

It would be amazing. Him and Song get along famously already!

    Srsly tho. Awesome player.
