They were well taken goals in a pressure situation. If this does not give him the confidence he needs to improve, nothing will.

Yeah, both good finishes and the one which went just past the post was well taken too and a bit unlucky.
Trouble is he's had these performances before and then relapsed. It seems he's better when played in and using his pace to beat the offside trap. He's not got the skill to beat defenders on the wing.
