You'd think it was Czech Republic v Holland the way they were going on about it. It was a quite awful match, with no quality apart from Mason's goal and one of the worst pelanty shoot-outs ever. And was Lawro on medication? I think he's already bypassed Motson in the senile stakes.

Wasn't that cruel on Cardiff...Liverpool were clearly the better team over the full 90 minutes (and ET). You had about 437598754 shots that narrowly went wide. A trophy's a trophy - great day for the club; enjoy!

Thankfully the couple of red scousers I do know aren't rawkishly weird at all - so I don't begrudge them the win.
