I guess they had their death or glory chance tonight. Do something special while you have the chance, or piss off at the end of the season. The appear to have chosen the latter.

Song started believing the hype and player some awful passes. Needs a slap for going for glory in the last few minutes.

Yeah agree, we need a new striker or a couple and that ACM to replace nasri and MC to replace Cesc.

Yeah he was shite, he has these games once a month where he consistently gives the ball away cheaply and then commits the predictable foul trying to win it back.

Our problems remain. We need better quality both on the pitch and on the bench. We need another striker...who can score. not these masquerades like Chamak and Park. I hope the rumours about Podolski are true but we need to add to the midfield and let the weeds go. Sentiments aside, we need to release Rosicky, Djorou and co. They are taking up the place of good players, not to mention Squid Bentner etc, who should jettisoned with ultimate predjudice ASAP.

Is that Azerbaijani for "sell this shit, spend some money and buy some strikers who can put the ball in the fucking net"? If so ....

We ultimately paid the price for the embarrassing shambles of a first leg. The feeling among the vast majority of us was it was pretty much nailed on we were going out - but we got a great reaction from the players and while it hurts, I think we'll remember this night for some time.

They gave it everything, and when the starting 11 could give no more, there was no one on that bench to help them.

    Little Mozart is certainly back.

    Koscielny is certainly boss.

    Chez is certainly God.

Oxlade Chamberlain is certainly as good as me.
