Best game in an Arsenal shirt imo. What made it impressive was that they'd stuck some pub-teamers to double up on him and that's where he usually struggles. Very encouraging signs. Showed he has technical ability too with some fantastic control on numerous occasions - he wasn't allowed to just kick the ball and run; he found a way to make an impact on the game. Well yes it is, there have been too many games this season where he's been totally ineffective. If he performed like this more consistently, no one would be moaning.
Having said that, at least he's been quite productive this season, unlike some of our central midfielders.
