"I really like Arsenal. Do you really like Arsenal, or only Arsenal with trophies?" - Dennis Bergkamp.
"Which Arsenal do they want back, the one Arsene created?" - Tony Adams.
That doesn't come as a huge surprise unfortunately.
off to work now, all i will be doing is praying now that fabrice is ok. once a gooner always a gooner
Watching it on the news atm
Its just shocking. If it can happen to a fit sportsman then it can happen to anyone.
Just hope he pulls through and lives life to the best of his ability
'Highlights' are on ITV1 in five minutes, no idea how they'll approach it.
I reckon they'll just show the goals and then talk about the incident. I've watched the footage of Muamba lying face down and it's sickening, I don't think they should show that given everyone knows the severity of it now.
Gordon Strachan is the pundit
They didnt show it
On to the everton game now
Drury's hyperbole seems slightly misplaced.
If it's something like HCM, a common cause of sudden cardiac death then being an active sportsman may have put increased strain on his heart leading to his collapse. Is there a cardiac screening operation in place for footballers - would it be part of a club's medicals?
Best wishes to Fabrice.
