Amazing talent. 23 years old, 11 ODI hundreds, 1 Test hundred (though he has only played 8 Tests). It's a better record than Tendulkar had at the same age. The funny thing is, he's more of a Test player than a ODI slogger. Incredible tekkers on display today...though you did only have to tap it for it to reach the fence. You get good value for your shots on these ice-rink subcontinent outfields.

Fire in Babylon is on iPlayer.
If you haven't seen it, do watch it. You shan't regret it. I've talked about it before but it's an absolutely fantastic documentary on WI's domination on cricket in the 70s/80s.

Saw it in Hampstead a while ago. Very good. Would have liked to see more cricket clips, but enjoyed the interviews too. Richards is a bit of a don.

Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka to reach the final of the Asia Cup. So it's Pakistan vs Bangladesh in the final on Thursday.
But I'm watching an ODI between Australia and West Indies atm. Australia 212-9 and Dwayne Bravo has just made a fantastic run-out. I'm sure it'll be on youtube soon - he didn't try to pick it up because there was no time. So about 15 yards away, side-on (about 1, 1.5 stumps to hit) he sidefooted it into the wickets. I bet there are footballers that couldn't have done that.
"I wonder if Arsene Wenger's watching" says Ian Ward.
