When something horrible like this happen football doesn't matter anymore . Life is more important than football after all . Seeing Tottenham players and fans showing emotion for a player who has an Arsenal connection it sends a strong message people can forget their differences and unite in pain or in joy .

I firmly believe if not for the quick decisive actions of the medical staff that attended him, poor Fabrice Muamba would have died either on the pitch or on the way to the hospital.....their intensive treatment are the reason he has a fighting chance and they are to be admired!.

Its really all up to him now, but I have a feeling that as he has survived this long even though he's not out of the woods by any means I believe he will recover, he's young and strong and this will be to his advantage!.

Watched the ITV coverage of the highlights up to the point where they started showing the highlights of the other match and switched over.

Post a message for him through the Arsenal website.

23 years old. It really is sad and I hope he recovers quickly.

Yes they did ever so well the medical team tbh, like you say its up to him now and if he has been through all that stuff he has been through in his life and got through that he should get through this tbh.

Thoughts and prayers are with him and the family tbh.

Yep would not have shocked me if they called off todays games tbh. Things like this put a lot of things into perspective. We come on boards and abuse these footballers but sometimes we forget their as human as us its only when things like this happen we realize that football is just a game at the end of the day.

Bolton are understandably looking to postpone their game with Villa on Tuesday.

fucking hell, poor kid. If he survives I'd be very, very surprised if he hasn't suffered any brain damage. Doubt his heart would stop for so long with no reprecussions on his brain. Horrible
