Wouldn't necessarily be too disappointed with Fletcher. Think he'd be a decent player, given the chance. That might just be me being desperate for someone, anyone up front. So long as he wasn't our only attacking signing, obviously.
We'd probably go after Jarvis as well just for the sake of it.

Going for players from midtable/relegated sides like Adam, Carroll, Downing, Henderson, Enrique and expecting them to gel and go for the Champions League spots was the first mistake. Whole thing about proven British PL players is a bullshit strategy by Dalglish.
