yay we won a trophy
We excel at that shit tbf. A magic carpet.
You have to be pretty happy when you compare it to Bayern's pitch yesterday, or the ridiculousness of the San Siro.

excellent groundsman. shame the team we have to play on it is shite
what a waste of a groundsman
Not sure how much is the groundsman. When the Emirates pitch was laid, there was a netting mesh built into the top grass layer to prevent it ripping up, so the groundsman gets a head start. (Plus the design of the stadium - those strange curves up and down at the back of the upper stands and the roof shape - is to make sure there is good airflow over the pitch. A lot of fancy looking stadiums are not well designed from an airflow point of view so you get a lot of stagnant air, which has a bad effect on the grass.
Arsenal Stadium design.![]()
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17769654Forbes rich list (most valuable).
1. Manchester United - $2,235bn (£1.4bn)
2. Real Madrid - $1,877bn (£1.17bn)
3. Barcelona - $1,307bn (£1.07bn)
4. Arsenal - $1,292bn (£800m)
5. Bayern Munich - $1,235bn (£770m)
6. AC Milan - $989m (£615m)
7. Chelsea - $761m (£473m)
8. Liverpool - $619m (£385m)
9. Juventus - $591m (£367m)
10. Schalke 04 - $587m (£365m)
11. Tottenham Hotspur -$564m (£351m)
13. Manchester City - $443m (£275m)
No idea what club is 12th. The BBC site couldn't be bothered to include that.
As for us though...fourth is a trophy.![]()
3. Barcelona - $1,307bn (£1.07bn)
4. Arsenal - $1,292bn (£800m)
That doesn't make any sense. Converting Dollars to Pounds should give a much closer figure to Arsenal's £800m for Barca.
