Don't get Why Barca did not shoot there was no way they bear the chavs defence in the 2nd half.

If we did that we get called a one root team etc. But i guess it will be more of a case of how good chavs were not how bad barca were.

The Liverpool thing was because the cretins at the FA had not considered the possibility of a PL team winning the CL but not getting into the top 4. In order to resolve the issue, UEFA arranged for Liverpool to have a way in by allowing them a play-off slot. They couldn't really give them an automatic slot as that would have meant taking out a team who had actually qualified already. Since then, the FA have corrected their fuck-up and now if a team wins the CL, they take the first position.

Sorry, my train of thought was interrupted by the news headlines replaying the worst piece of football commentary in the history of everything in this and the infinite number of parallel universes.
    Any links?

I'm embarrassed to say that I began to celebrate when Torres was in, and all I heard was RatBoy screech "He's IN!", and nothing more.....

And good call on Barca crumbling when the going gets tough. As well as Chelsea parked the bus, to not beat a team with 10 men at your own ground being the most technically gifted set of players around is piss poor.

I wonder if this week is Barcelona's 'Rooney dive'. Losing the league at home to Real Madrid and losing the CL to Chelsea at home in the same week will surely have a massive psychological impact. Reputation is everything for them and the way they play the game.

i think he was trying to be the typical, big hardman english centre back. you know the type who wants to rough up the opposition and make sure he 'knows hes there'. little pushes here or there, little kicks, squaring up etc. its sunday league type behaviour.

fucking wanker. so glad he's missing it. karma strikes back for being a c*nt in life.

Barca were disappointing tbh, with so many bodies in the centre they could have put some balls across the goal more often, especially with Alves on the wing. It was so one dimensional that it got really predictable by the end.

And Messi was very poor tonight, and in fact the last 3 matches I've seen him play (against Barca twice and Real) he's not been at the races.

Yes - the 4th qualifying team. If chavs win the CL, then that will be the 3rd place in the PL.

    And I hope you're right.
