This one seems more accurate.
Perhaps they're crudely working it out. The truth is somewhere in the middle between those figures you mentioned though, as we now know.
It's not a huge surprise the Citeh are the only ones that has wages dwarfing their income. However it is surprising they apparently had £88 million in unpaid transfer fees.
It also suggests that the days of us pissing about over a million here or there should really be over.
Probably Mata too.Schwarzer. Maybe Reina (not sure about that one personally).
Phil Jones *phew*. We get linked with so many players, it's hard to remember.
Well we missed out on Mata (and Villa and Silva as I've said before) for 6 years so it could be worse.
I do remember something about Reina, but I don't think it was just down to a couple of million. I think we just rejected it and told you to sod off. I'm sure you're pleased with how it turned out.
As for Phil Jones, I'm not exactly bothered we missed out, either. I'm sure he'll win a small collection of medals though.
You could have not been bothered about the fees and signed Downing, Henderson and Carroll though.
Phil Jones is 'versatile', i.e not good enough to hold one position down.
It's funny how you broke our transfer record about four times over with those signings.![]()
Well I can think of other words to describe it.
It may seem obvious, but I think we'll see more restraint this year.
Larne's manager (NI) has resigned after 13 hours in the job.
Dear me.
