Atherton made a good point ( ) that Edwards and Roach would be a lot better if they were taller. You can always come forward to these two because it's never going over your shoulder. And when they do bang it in, they have to bang it in so short that you can spot it from a mile away. The only way a fast bowler can be short is if he gets good swing like Gough. Going way back, Larwood was supposed to be the best fast bowler around and he was a midget but then again he bowled at the era of the village so cricket didn't exist then.

The Kumars at 42mph is garbage. Makes me sick.

What an awful decision to give a wicket there. Good thing the review system is in place.

    It goes back to 13-0.

    The Kumars at 42mph.

    Very good.

I would have Ravi Rampaul ahead of Edwards and Roach. He must be injured, I guess.

    Gayle
    Barath
    Chanderpaul
    Edwards
    Darren Bravo
    Dwayne Bravo
    pub-team keeper of choice
    Rampaul
    Narine/Bishoo
    big fast bowler of choice
    big fast bowler of choice

That'd make this series relatively interesting. Sorry Sammy

    You forgot Sarwan.

It's ridiculous. They've got a much better team not playing.

Having said that, when that much better team has played, they've been routinely annihilated. The side they have playing now has more XP than the one that played against the Aussies recently and they were good matches, generally.

They would've lost regardless. But it would've been a bit closer (even though Gayle's not a test player, he'd get the odd quick-fire 50 - natural ability is worth a bit). It would've been good to see Narine, in particular. This 'mystery spinner' is fantastic - the Aussies just couldn't pick him.

At the very least, Windies would be more fun to watch with Gayle and Bishoo/Narine, Pollard (?), Bravo in. They've been boring the shit out of everyone so far. A few Barath cover drives apart, there hasn't been any decent shotmaking.

Not being able to knock off the Aussie tail is where they mainly faltered along with the weather, probably.

It's not a huge surprise they aren't knocking the cherry around to all parts of the ground though, for many of them they've never played against swing for such a sustained period before. As long as they learn from it unlike England forever sweeping a spinning ball they should be alright.

Great throw from KP, Barath dives in Brian Lara Cricket style though. Not out.
