If Wilshere gets the all clear and we keep Song, we won't sign a new DM or central player. The core three will be Arteta, Song and Wilshere. Rosicky will get games, Ramsey will, Coquelin will, Frimpong will be back, plus Wenger hasn't given up on Diaby. Players will have to be sold before we buy and we still have Denilson on the books.

We need good back up players, with premiership experience in the Arteta mould, such as Dempsey/Benayoun. We've had Diaby/Denilson for years and they've not shown their talent , albeit Diaby was looking decent till he got injured, need to get rid. I believe once our first team takes shape, we need to sort out our bench with proven premiership players.

It's not going to happen. We'll never have an expensive bench and Wenger will give these players a chance. I doubt we'll sign another central midfield player. Wenger's hand would have to be forced like last season with all the injuries and player sales.
Agree except for Coquelin, this young man has been one our best players in every game he played last season. Really hope he gets more games next season, would hate to see him leave us because Wenger insists on playing Ramsey over him.
Yep I expect us to go into the next season with a midfield of Coquelin, Song, Ramsey, Wilshere, Rosicky, Arteta as our central options. Out wide we'll have Walcott, Gervinho, Podolski don't forget can also play there and Oxlade-Chamberlain. Defence won't be changed, and upfront we may bring in a replacement for RVP. That'll be it I expect.
Diaby isn't shit either. He's just always injured. Can be very influential on attacks or dominant in midfield.
Anyone else getting the feeling we wont enter the market until the RVP situation is sorted out which most presumably will take all summer?
We have actually signed a decent player already. Is that just being ignored or taken for granted? If all we've done is sign a replacement for RvP then we have every right to complain in the strongest terms. But if Podolski is and addition then we're already stronger and hopefully it heralds the arrival of one or two more decent signings. We'll have to wait and see because the Euros will confuse everything this year. No point just assuming we'll sign nobody though, because we have in fact signed somebody, haven't we?

Fuck all like Arteta and Merts? Anyway, Bould might well be our most influential signing this year. Hope so anyway. If he can get the defence sorted out that's a massive stride forward for us. And then we can focus on signing a decent medical staff.
