A bad way to end his Arsenal career. The Club have to take a hard line and stick to it. This constant getting walked over has got to stop and really this is the time to play hardball. Van Persie should leave on our terms and if they can't be met, he should either play or rot.

Exactly how most gooners I'm talking to feel. It might not be the most sensible choice for us to keep him and not take whatever the best offer is, but right now I just don't give a fuck. I mean he's that type of player who everyone was raving about at one point, but the true mark of a top quality player is to be able to do it consistently. Johnson never managed it and was found at Everton, and the same is true with RVP. Okay, he was good from September to March of last season, but I'm sure if he goes to United or City, he'll be found out and will spend a lot of his time on the bench, because he can't hold a candle up to Rooney, Aguero, Balotelli, etc.
