There's an investigation being launched into why there were hundreds of empty seats. Not sure what there is to investigate, if you hand out tickets to corporates who only want to possess them for the sake of it, don't be surprised if they don't turn up.

Back at the Aquatics Centre, where Great Britain's Georgia Davies and Gemma Spofforth are safely through to tonight's 100m backstroke semi-final at 1950 BST. Davies actually outqualified her team-mate with a time of 59.92 seconds behind Australia's Emily Seebohm. Action coming thick and fast in the pool now.
