We're only trying this because of their financial difficulties. We're offering enough for them to cover what they owe on him plus a small profit so if Malaga don't accept this one, I can't see us going much higher. We won't go beyond what we deem is fair price.

A little bit like not offering the extra £2.5m for Xabi Alonso, for instance.
