    Ainslie update:

Ben Ainslie gives a masterclass in downwind sailing to make up 70m to pip Dane Hogh-Christensen for third in race two. Ainslie won the first race of the day and is now three points back with two races on Friday and Sunday's medal race to come. 'That was a pivotal day,' says BBC Sport pundit and former Olympic champion Shirley Robertson. 'It was crucial if he is going to stand on top of the podium on Sunday.'

Ainslie ghelling it up in the sailing:

Jonas Hogh-Christensen responds to Ben Ainslie's allegations he was "ganged up" on when two sailors claimed he hit a mark - which Ainslie denies - forcing him to do a penalty turn. Ainslie gestured provocatively to the Dane after crossing the line after race two in Weymouth.

"Ganging up is quite an allegation," said the Dane, whose lead over Ainslie is now down to three points. "If I saw him hit it and the other guy saw him hit it that might suggest he hit it. What Ben said is between him and me."
