yeah ecb wanted him to play a game before the ODI series kicked off, and essex didnt have one so we agreed to release him, though saying that we do have a game tomorrow but guess its too close
So let me get this straight
A Gloucestershire player who has probably been looking forward to playing SA all summer has had to step aside cos Boparas county didnt have a game and ECB demnded they put him in for Gloucester? What if they had said no?
Wtf is this? If Bopara isnt match fit then he shouldnt have been picked for the ODI squad. Its part and parcel of sport. You cant just go play for any other team to get fit.
