I had forgotten about that.

Here's what Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas had to say about Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy regarding Spurs's move for Hugo Lloris. It is not particularly complimentary: "We have had people speaking all night with Daniel Levy. He talks a lot and goes back on what we've agreed in writing.
"The things as they were at 5am were not the same at 10am. I think we have to make sure we get a certain amount of value because it's important that Hugo can go to a quality club that allows him to do himself justice from a value point of view, so that he can feel right about it.
"At the moment we're talking about whether he can come back to say his goodbyes to the supporters, to his team-mates, so we can honour him, this truly great player and brilliant man. I would put it at 50-50 that Hugo goes to Tottenham. Although from the outset we've submitted to agreements I would now put it at 50-50 that he'll be going there.
"Agreements have not at all been respected. We've done what we can. Hugo has been troubled by the difficulty in these negotiations."
"Those reports claiming Manchester City had come in for Yann M'Vila appear to be wide of the mark. Rennes chairman Frederic de Saint Sernin has just said the France midfielder will definitely not be moving to an English club today, and added that there is now a very strong chance of him staying in Brittany. 'He's not going to England,' De Saint Sernin declared. 'Tottenham gave up on the player at 19:30 last night. It's 95 percent sure he will stay at Rennes, unless a Russian or Ukrainian club makes an offer.'"
"It wouldn't be Deadline Day without Jim White".
FFS.

Hugo at spurs lodge Gary.
"the player himself was unsure if he wanted to come to london, wanted to come to spurs"
says gary.
Brendan Rodgers is giving little away when it comes to Liverpool's transfer targets, but he has distanced the club from reports linking them with a late approach for Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar. The Reds boss has refused to be drawn on reports linking him with Fulham's Clint Dempsey, Arsenal's Theo Walcott and Chelsea's Daniel Sturridge.
