Breaking news coming in that City may miss out on two players before the window slams shut. All the other teams will share these two players until January when City will complete the set.

I remember waking to Cole/Gallas happening after deadline, Arshavin after, Arteta bang on.

Yes it looks unlikely but until it can't happen, it can

Think it's all for the best, there can be no pretence amongst any of us of expectancy to win anything....and with goals unlikely to be forthcoming we are looking at a top half finish at best..........I think the apathy of the fans can only be cured by something quite apalling like this happening......we have sold of all our best players that doesn't seem to be enough......only a mid-table finish can stir us from our sleep.

We will get four points at most from our next 4 games....so we are well on the road!

there comes a point when fans say enough is enough regardless of the crap spewed by our board and manager. 7 years counting we have had this- constant shite spewed out of wenger's mouth, out of the ceo's mouth, out of our owner's mouth. fans are finally turning in their droves against the club and a few good results won't recover the loss of proximity we once had with this football club. we've sold our dignity to the devil and the board don't even care. you say fans are stupid because they'll support when results start improving but we went on an incredible run last season and that didn't stop our fans voicing their displeasure. they can see through a few good performances, they can see the ignorant attitude of our manager and they can see the corporate direction the club is heading towards. i know people who have had season tickets for 20 years but have vowed never to step foot inside the stadium as long as wenger is here. they've washed their hands with him and a few good results will not repair 7 years of being constantly undermined and having our intelligence insulted. we've been ripped for every penny we have yet the manager sits in his press conference and has the audacity to talk about high spending in the current recession, knowing full well the club milks fans for every penny we have even at a time when unemployment is at an all time high. using the recession to suit his argument shows the level of hypocrisy our board and manager result to. its quite literally shameful.

the ill-feeling is growing and it's gone on long enough. many have had enough. enough is enough.

Why do people keep bleating on about this seven years shit when talking about transfers?

It is seven years since we won something, this transfer strategy has been in place longer.

European football expert Andy Brassell: "So, it seems to have ended up as a yes and a no from Portugal to the Premier League today. The signing of Javi Garcia is a coup for Roberto Mancini, and not nearly as expensive as it could have been at an initial £16m. With all due respect to Nigel de Jong, Garcia is a huge upgrade. Brought through the Real Madrid academy he is of good stock, but has improved his game tenfold since arriving in Lisbon. The 25-year-old is strong, good in the air, a good passer and has the adaptability to play at centre-back too. Perhaps the best aspect for City is that his power will allow Yaya Toure to be used further forward more often.

"On the other hand, missing out on Moutinho will be a source of huge disappointment to Andre Villas-Boas. The midfielder isn't just a great player, but a player who could help unfold AVB's vision on the pitch - and he believes in the coach just as much as Villas-Boas believes in him. Even for a gnarled businessman like Daniel Levy it is, however, never a good idea to be stuck bartering with Porto on the final day of the window. Their president Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa has been there, got the T-shirt and sold it on at a handsome profit."

Less pressure could work in our faavour tbh but lets be honest we all know we will luck our way to another top 4 finish.
