One could say, we lacked that little bit of sharpness...

Is everyopne missing the bit at the end where he says 'I came here to see out my career'. He doesn't want to leave and nor will he ever come back, geez.

No chance of him coming back, but of course I'd have him here again.

Never disrespected us and will be the best midfielder in world football in a couple years.

    A must get.

If we was to leave Barca, it wouldn't be for us.

He'd cost too much, and his wage demands would be too high.

    He'd be off to City.
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.

Before van Purse I'd have been naive enough to say no way, our ex-captain would never shit on us like that. Now I wonder what's keeping them all from joining City. You're not a proper, ambitious player unless you are shitting on the fans from a great height.

Thing is though, his wage demands are not that high. He seems more concerned with playing for a team he loves.

sure why not. he's no different to another other player that wears a football shirt so if he does what is needed on the pitch, bring him in.

Nah his wage demands would be ok, as he say he loves this club etc. Only problem is once we got him you know we'd sell him to city in a year or so, go to balance those books.

No I think he means, that's what he intended to do - he also says he didn't go there to sit racking his brains but that is what has ended up happening. I just can't see what use they have for him right now, he's relying on injuries I reckon.
