Yes.
No.
I wonder, a season or so on, whether those who thought Fabregas slowed our play down too much, are those who'd have him back now?
He's a top, top player. But so influential that our style of play would have to evolve again.
Anyway, it's moo in my view.
The way Fabregas plays for spain is the way I'd want him to play at Arsenal, less deep laying playmaker, more front free, incisive wide forward. With him and Cazorla interchanging, and Cesc using is new found talent for scoring, we'd then be a top center forward away from being as good as the invincibles (aibeit a completely different style of play)
He was often partnered by garbage in the middle for us, players like Arteta and Cozola were the ones we needed to sign 3-4 years ago to play with him. I think he'd slot in well in the current set up, I could easily see him doing what Scholes did 10 years ago with those runs into the box.

The position Cesc would have to take is Giroud's. Go all out 4-6-0.
That's what I hope we do if Wilshere's not broken (), in which case we send Oxlade in the false-but-little-bit-true-as-well-you-know no.9 position. Cesc would be even better.
Yup, inspired.
