Could say the same about Muzza yesterday tbf.

Not really. If in 3 years time he hasn't added more slams then yes.

I'm not talking as in he won't win a slam again, im talking in terms of he had a lot of things go for him yesterday, Not to take anything away from Andy, but its not as if Dojo was at his best.

I think Andy has a chance to win a few slams next year why not?

novak wasn't at his best in patches, only because of andy's game.

there is no comparison with del potro. he has only played in one final and won it. murray has been and around the finals for years now and this is the final stepping stone toward more.

del potro is limited compared to murray in terms of his game ability - he has a long way to go to reach the top four level.

It seems to have passed non-tennis fans (unlike ourselves) by. Most people at work didn't know anything about it this morning. There's obviously a lot of fuss over Wimbledon here but not so sure about the US Open. Would be interested to see what the UK viewing figures were for the Final yesterday. I reckon it would only be around a million.

I'd quite like to see some hype. It's definitely something worth celebrating.

Yeah it has always been the case over here that Wimbledon is seen as the only one that matters.

BBC cater their presentation of Wimbledon to those of that mind- Andrew Castle (of all people) has to explain the state of the game and how/why Murray hasn't won one.

Yes and no, I thought he was tired and playing the day before did not help him at all but neither here not there. Murray was good in the 1st 2 sets admittedly the 1st set could have gone either way tbf.

Don't get it twisted Murray deserved to win and im glad he did cause he fought till the end, where as Dojo gave up half way through the last set imo.
I was not comparing Del potro to murray on how many finals be has been on, more on the luck they both had in their finals.

At least Murrya did not do that Cliche'd Drop on your back crap they do when they win a slam.
