Both really. Just not sure how a team format to Tennis works.

i know it is the players choice as to whether play for their country for the tournament or not (not sure if it is every year?).
this really doesn't help...

For the ties there are five matches:
Single player (Arg) vs Single Player (Cze)
Single player 2 (Arg) vs Single player 2 (Cze)
Doubles vs Doubles.
Then the reversed singles matches Single Player 2 (Arg) vs Single player (Cze). So in this case Berdych will play Del Potro either tomorrow or Sunday.
The winner of each match scores a point for their team.
The whole Davis Cup though is confusing, there are group matches going on at the same time - I think it's to try and get their nation in to a 'zone' where they can go on and compete in the World Group for each year it is contested.
Two break points for Berdych. Maradona is going to kill him.
theres no need to bring it down to springsteen puns.
whats next, bottle jokes?
Ah right, I understand how the ties work then.
As for the tournament itself.![]()
Berdych did break and leads 2-0 in the fifth.![]()
A double fault brings up three more break points for Berdych.![]()
monaco has fallen to bits completely. 0-40 and heading for a four game deficit.
Berdych breaks to love, probably a bad call but no HawkEye on clay.
