Admittedly he is starting to put together a decent collection of howlers for both club and country but we are by no means at 'call Bob Wilson out of retirement' stage just yet.

The defence is playing solidly and one goal in four games in the PL is not bad at all. . .what we need from Sir Ches is to recollect himself as the schedulw is about to get tougher

    Spot on.

Chez had a shocker on Saturday but unless he has a string of poor performances, and he hasn't yet, you can't keep changing 'keeper.
He had a mostly good season last year, no idea what happened on Saturday but you don't drop a player for one bad performance.
Hes been shit since the end of last season. Its more than one game.

gervinho disappeared for half the season, as did chamakh. walcott has gone very long periods doing the same during his development.

chez needs competition, not to be sold. that would make no sense for us to dump him now. if that was the case, utd may as well sell de gea.

you don't give up on goalkeepers at such a young age, especially when they have shown some real signs of promise.

I have been saying he needs competition for ages tbh

And no way should he have been brought straight back in v Southampton as Mannone did nothing wrong. Fact he has means Mannone isnt competition, hes just a filler. Ches knows this and you can see the complacency in his game cos of it.

Hes nowhere near as good as people on here make him out to be. Some even called him the best in England

Yes, Mannone should have continued, as it should be down to Chesney to fight for his place.

And, I'm sure you'll agree that Jenkinson should remain at right back when Sagan is fit again.
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.

If Sagna was fit right now then yes Jenkinson should continue for the moment.

However he wont be fit for months yet so lets see how Jenkinson is doing then

rubbish its down to the other 2 keepers to provide that competion if they are not good enough to do that. Lets be honest if you think we are going to get a keeper who is better then chez who will want to sit in the bench good luck to ya.

On your logic might as well have paid 12 mill or lloris and stuck him onthe bench.
