Vermaelen thought it was a penalty when asked (so did the Sky panel), he admitted he didn't get the ball, in addition Diaby's late tackle perhaps should have been a penalty (and a red since he'd already caught someone not longer before and was on a yellow).

Our defending was not bad but they exposed us a number of times as well, the easy chance they missed as well Diaby giving the ball away in the penalty area were two of those. Tony Adams wasn't convinced with our defending, I thought we were decent but I can't remember seeing us dominated like that for many a year.
